Daily Logging

Log meals accurately

Use Meals for each food log. Ingredients are most useful when they’re entered in packet order.

Log each meal, treat, or food trial separately.
Include the full ingredient list when you can.
Save common foods to speed up repeat logging.

Symptoms

Log reactions when they happen

Use Symptoms for itching, stool changes, vomiting, ear irritation, and anything else that stood out.

Log symptoms as soon as you can.
Select all symptoms that apply, not just the main one.
Use notes for timing, severity, or anything unusual.

Wider Context

Track environmental exposures

Use Environmental Exposures for pollen, grass, dust, mould, cleaning products, smoke, and similar context.

Log likely exposures on the same day.
Use notes for walks, cleaning, or high-pollen days.
This helps separate food patterns from other triggers.

Review

Check the insights

Open Insights to review the timeline, top symptoms, and possible ingredient signals.

Use the timeline to compare meals, symptoms, and exposures.
Watch for ingredients that show up before reactions.
Use it to support a Vet conversation, not replace one.

Export for your Vet

Use Open report for a printable view, Download report for CSV, or a read-only shared link for Insights and Timeline.

Export after a flare-up or before an appointment.
Add meals, symptoms, and exposures first if you can.
Use the shared link if you want a read-only view without owner details.
Anyone with the link can open it until you turn sharing off or create a new one.

How ingredient signals are calculated

Ingredient signals are a weighted pattern check that highlights ingredients seen before symptoms.

We link meals to symptoms that happen 8–24 hours later.
Earlier ingredients on the label count more.
Common filler terms are ignored.
Higher scores just help focus review and conversation.
